The Mysterious Power of Music

Music has a mysterious power. It touches the soul and uplifts the spirit. Melodies move us, and songs soothe us — what is the haunting power granted to music?

Guest Speaker Rabbi Avraham Trugman will delve into the qualities of music and explain why it exerts such a strong influence on us. He draws upon a wide array of sources from Jewish mysticism and tradition as well as modern scientific research, to give us a profound understanding of the power of music. This evening will be a beautiful combination of teaching and live music, a true experiential event.

An event geared to young adults, singles and couples. Donations greatly appreciated.
